BS. The providers will continue to rip us off with this bundles. Let me explain how the bundle works. Let have to consumers named John and Jain. They want to have Internet service and Phone service. TelCo is provider of both services. It’s goal is to sell Internet service and Phone service to both John and Jain. Let assume that John is willing to pay $20 for Internet and $10 for phone. Jain on other hand wants to pay $10 for the Internet and $20 for Phone. So in order to protect their profit TelCo bundles the service and sells… Read more »

I like how they start off the article saying it’s a “buyer’s market” as if there is vibrant competition, and end by saying, “If you want to be able to watch football on TV, then your only choice is DirectTV as it has exclusive NFL packages.”

Consumer reports and this news station are either confused, incompetent or just flat out lying.

I actually interpreted that part of the video in a different sense…

The way I understood the whole video, the reporter was simply mentioning something that might appeal to a person with another provider. I didn’t see it as something saying that only a specific provider carries a particular package.
