I will be going on Friday. Live just up the road from this location in fact. Wonder if I can go in with a camera to record the session.

Call Eric Massa’s Office and ask. They did it in Texas.

Has anyone notified the media (esp. Kate Perry)? It’d be nice to see some coverage in the news.

It is on the calendar for 13WHAM News per Rachel Barnhart, but I do not know whether they will actually appear or not.

while I don’t think this cap is fair, or close – it should be noted that the existing time warner road runner service agreement allows them to cap internet usage based on amount transferred or speed. So they technically can already do this. Setting a cap as absurdly low as 40 GB/month is just bad business. In fact its terrible business. Sure this is getting a lot of media and perhaps its just a publicity stunt, but it is a terrible idea. you can easily track some of your bandwidth usage just by setting windows task manager to monitor bytes… Read more »

I will be attending the one in Pittsford tonight, I hope everyone in the area turns out to show their support for our cause. I ask anyone who is going to be speaking tonight to be polite and thank Massa, but also to come prepared with good talking points, and ones that will rebuke TWC main talking points. Phil has posted some good ones so I will just recap ones i think should be addressed. – Why does Time Warner think they have to ration internet bandwidth while other companies like Verizon offer faster speeds and no caps, and comcast… Read more »

I just returned from the town meeting with Eric Massa in Pittsford. WOW! Eric Massa passionately owns this issue and made it patently clear he would stake his office and his political career on his efforts to fight Time Warner’s attempt to institute bandwidth caps. He totally understands the issue. He not only sees this as a local concern, he views this as the serious threat it is against our national economy and security. Kudos to Eric! Please do everything you can do to help support his congressional efforts to fight Time Warner’s greed driven attempts to abuse their monopoly.

I wish I could be there to support Mr. Massa and his efforts. We are doing everything we can to spread the word. Good Luck Team.

I attended the one in Henrietta and he is very passionate about the issue and will stand up and put his reelection on the line for the people against Time Warner.

I also was able to sneak in a question to ask when we can expect to see Eric Massa on the Colbert Report…his response…never! 🙁 I guess we won’t be seeing Congressman Massa shotgunning a beer in the near future.
