Richard Greenfield from BTIG Research appeared on Bloomberg TV this morning to talk about the rapidly decreasing chances the Comcast-Time Warner Cable merger will make it past the Justice Department. Verizon should consider spinning off Wireline Unit instead of having to think about selling off Wireline unit because that is another form of reducing FiOS coverage by giving out FiOS to other company like Frontier and they could say, “We need to reduce speeds from 500 mbps to 100 mbps because we do not believe in crazy speedy networks” They could force you to reduce your internet speed if you have speedy FiOS internet plans and they could back out of FiOS markets for no reason by making internet for the rich, loosing customers and reducing coverage like Sears is… Read more »
