The vandalism on those pay phones are certainly a shameful thing to see for both the company and the area. They have been pulling out payphones slowly in the area, though as the phones get destroyed, break, or are no longer used in favor of folks using cell phones or finding a phone elsewhere to use. One less thing to vandalize but one essential thing that could be kept around if it’s ever needed…
