Oh the irony of this article.

I just had to come here and publish that Charter is now in fact
enforcing bandwidth limits, didn't take them long to change their minds did it?

Now my connection is capped at 200GB a month which I already went over in less
than 3 weeks (Hulu, Xbox Live, Mods, video uploads to youtube, online classes, etc.).
These are no longer "soft caps" but enforced ones.

First they will send you a warning letter, then a threat (and limit your connection),
then finally they will disconnect you or force you to upgrade to a business account.

In truth, what is really happening is the internet is dying, and instead of resuscitating it
by pumping billions into a new infrastructure/backbone, these companies have decided
that metering our usage will get them another decade or so out of this dinosaur of
an internet.

All this does is hinder progress, in a world
where the majority of people are starting to connect
via the internet and social networking, and
where HD video is streamable to your desktop, these ISPs are scared, and rightfully so,
the internet just got a lot more crowded. So how do you fix it? Make it faster?
No, you make it stagnant, cut off its legs,
and keep it from running, now we can crawl towards the future.

Yaaaa for progress!!

Your reponse time is pathetic.. After losing both phone and internet for 24HRS has caused my study (MFA) to be canned for 6 months. Also i have paid $40 just to talk about a situation that you have to wear big time.
A prompt response (if -400KPS will work would be much appreaced and wanted.
My speed has deopped be 2 thirds as to make life for me as a student impossible.
Please get your act together or goodbye, and rightly so.
