		<description>How much authority does WUTC (or any state utility commission for that matter) have over broadband providers?  Yes, a wireline telephone company would be regulated.  But, not sure about their broadband service.

In Illinois, the state commerce commission has limited/no authority on broadband provided by telephone companies, cable TV companies, WISPs, etc.</description>
