They are meeting with Time Warner privately this Friday, so they can hear their side of the story. The only problem is, many of them have not heard from their constituents on how much they hate usage caps. You need to bombard their offices with e-mail and phone calls.

[Update 6:30pm: I received information just a short time ago that a large number of supervisors HAVE gotten the message from constituents and are getting too many e-mails to personally respond to! Several have visited StoptheCap! to pick up additional information on this issue, so YOU ARE MAKING AN IMPACT! KEEP IT UP! If you are a town supervisor, welcome!

Just hand delivered a letter to Gates town supervisor earlier today. Sadly – email was not an option, but there is something special about a real letter to real. Makes it more official I guess.
Time Warner Cable, as you might expect, is a heavy political contributor. If you talk to elected official, remind them that their first responsibility is to you as a constituent, not Time Warner as a past or potential contributor.

I revised my Gates letter and sent an email of it to Maggie Brooks, to which I got her default email auto reply. Pretty much what I expected back. I’m sure she’s bombarded with emails.
